Maxim Logo LargeMark Bucsis, C.A., President of Maxim Development Corp. graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979 and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting major) and Bachelor of Arts & Science degree (Economics major). He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1982 and worked in an international public accounting firm until 1987.

From 1987 to 1992 Mark worked as Controller and then Finance Manager of a Saskatchewan based real estate development company. The company was involved in the construction and development of residential multi-family condominiums in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. During the 5 years spent with the company, he was involved in the development of numerous projects ranging from 150 to 450 units.

In 1992 Mark joined a Vancouver based real estate development company as Vice President. The company was involved in the acquisition and renovation of multi-family apartment and condominium projects primarily in the United States. He spent 12 years with the company and was involved in all facets of property development. Projects completed ranged in size from 50 units to over 250.

In 2003 Mark contracted with the University of Saskatchewan for one year as a Business Development Officer. He was involved in various projects with the University including the acquisition of a commercial property in Saskatoon developed as a Primary Health Care centre.

In 2004 Mark commenced the development of a $20 million condominium project in University Heights area of Saskatoon. This project consisted of 126 units constructed in two phases. The first phase was completed in 2005 and the second phase was completed in 2008.

In 2009 Mark commenced the first phase of The Hampton, a 2 phase project consisting of 87 units. This project has been completed and sold out.

In 2012 Mark has commenced building the first phase of Blairmore Landing. This Development is focused on providing affordable housing in the Saskatoon market place.
